Tiziano Cruz

Tiziano Cruz, nace en la provincia de Jujuy- Argentina. Es un artista internacional e Interdisciplinar, su obra reúne fundamentalmente el lenguaje visual y teatral, la performance, intervención artística del espacio público, la Gestión y Mediación Cultural en Instituciones públicas y privadas.

Ha finalizado sus estudios en Administración de Empresas, Arte Visuales, Escénicas y Gestión Cultural en la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán y Universidad Nacional de Córdoba Argentina y actualmente se encuentra cursando la Maestría en Cultura Pública en Universidad Nacional de las Artes. Ha sido artista Becario del Fondo Nacional de las Artes e Instituto Nacional del Teatro. Ha recibido distinciones como Artista Emergente por la Dirección Nacional de Formación Cultural- Argentina e Instituto Nacional de Artes Escénicas – Uruguay, Asociación General de Autores del Uruguay y Instituto de Cultura de Baja California - México. Ganador de la Bienal de Arte Joven 2019 - Argentina con su obra escénica “Adiós Matepac (ensayo sobre el recuerdo o la despedida)”.

Se destaca su participación como artista visual/performer/director/docente/gestor y mediador cultural tanto en el territorio argentino, como en México, Brasil, Uruguay y Chile. Es fundador de la Plataforma ULMUS Gestión Cultural, plataforma dedicada a la mediación cultural entre diferentes organismos de la cultura de argentina y países limítrofes.

Actualmente se desempeña como Coordinador del Área Atención al Público en el Centro Cultural Recoleta - Dependiente de la Subsecretaría de Políticas Culturales y Nuevas Audiencias- Ministerio de Cultura - Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.

About the Director and playwright:

Tiziano Cruz, was born in the province of Jujuy- Argentina. He is an international and interdisciplinary artist. His work fundamentally brings together the visual and theatrical language, performance, artistic intervention of public space, Cultural Management and Mediation in public and private institutions.

He has completed his studies in Business Administration, Visual Arts, Performing Arts and Cultural Management at the National University of Tucumán and National University of Córdoba Argentina and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Public Culture at the National University of the Arts.

He has been a Fellow of the National Arts Fund and the National Theater Institute. He has received distinctions as an Emerging Artist by the National Directorate of Cultural Training - Argentina and the National Institute of Performing Arts - Uruguay, General Association of Authors of Uruguay and the Institute of Culture of Baja California - Mexico. Winner of the Biennial of Young Art 2019 - Argentina with his scenic work “Adiós Matepac (essay on memory or farewell)”.

His participation as a visual artist / performer / director / teacher / manager and cultural mediator stands out both in the Argentine territory, as in Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay and Chile. He is the founder of the ULMUS Cultural Management Platform, a platform dedicated to cultural mediation between different cultural organizations in Argentina and neighboring countries.

He currently serves as Coordinator of the Customer Service Area at the Recoleta Cultural Center - Dependent of the Undersecretary of Cultural Policies and New Audiences - Ministry of Culture - Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
